Transpersonal Counselling

What is transpersonal counselling?

Transpersonal counselling is a psycho-spiritual model of counselling that focuses on healing and self realisation.

Every individual is unique and has a unique life journey or story. Transpersonal counselling explores ALL aspects of SELF and links this to the events and experiences that have created ones story.

Transpersonal means 'to go beyond the ego, mind or persona'. Transpersonal counselling recognises the spirit as part of the human potential and focuses on accessing the client's inner guidance, wisdom and power.

The transpersonal practitioner is a facilitator or guide who uses mainstream counselling methods combined with transpersonal processes including:

  • Meditation and guided imagery
  • Chakra work
  • Dream work
  • Myth and story
  • Ritual
  • Art therapy
  • Inner dialoguing
  • These processes can assist the client to explore their subconscious and unconscious worlds, leading them to greater self-awareness, meaning, purpose, self-expression and creativity.

A typical session lasts for 60-75 minutes and 3-4 sessions are generally recommended for full benefits.

Each session costs $120 (inclusive of GST).
